Your Love Ran Red

Isaiah 1:18

Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.

Dear Almighty God-

You Lord are so good. You are such a good God. You are all knowing and we are awestruck by the amazing LOVE that You have for us. No matter what we have done, left undone, or failed to do, You still love us with an abundant, unconditional love. You take us in when we often are soaked with anxiety and You dry us off with Your Great Love. When we are lonely and broken, You uplift us and encourage us. You accept us and You call us Your children.

The farthest we could ever go away from You is not far enough out of the reach of Your Great Love. You prove it everyday. The evidence is all around us each and everyday. The atmosphere is changing at the closeness of Your Holy presence. You convict us of our sin through Your voice in the Holy Spirit. But you don't condemn us. You don't hurt us Lord. You don't crush us for our sins. You are For Us and Not Against Us.

It was You Jesus, out of obedience to The Father, that You descended down from Your heavenly throne. As You peered down from the balcony of heaven, You saw Your children who were lost and bogged down by sin and shame. You came down to break the chains of sin and death to bring us light and life in Your Name. You came down from heaven to DIE, so that we might live.

Each of our lives begin… AT THE CROSS. It's where the Love and Life of Christ is Transferred to us. We didn't deserve it, we sure didn't earn it, because it was a FREE gift. It was the greatest gift one could ever receive. AT THE CROSS, You established Yourself as the Great Messiah and The Savior of the entire world. In a very instant, You became both CREATOR and SAVIOR.

AT THE CROSS, we are all redeemed by the Blood that was spilled on Calvalry's Hill. His Blood was spilled so that we who have been broken would be forever sweetly broken by the bid of Your Redeeming Love.

AT THE CROSS, we become heirs to God's Glory, (Romans 8:17).

AT THE CROSS, we change from sinner to disciple. We become a disciple who follows the very breath and deity in power from the almighty God.

AT THE CROSS, we become healed of sickness and disease and receive healing, (1 Peter 2:24)

There's a place where mercy reigns and never dies

There's a place where streams of grace flow deep and wide

Where all the love I've ever found

Comes like a flood

Comes flowing down

I surrender my life

I'm in awe of You

I'm in awe of You

Where Your love ran red

And my sin washed white

I owe all to You

I owe all to You Jesus

There's a place where sin and shame are powerless

Where my heart has peace with God and forgiveness

Where all the love I've ever found

Comes like a flood

Comes flowing down

Here my hope is found

Here on holy ground

Here I bow down

Here I bow down

Here arms open wide

Here You saved my life

Here I bow down

Here I bow…
