RTF Conference 2022 Speakers
Pastor Rick is a retired elder in the United Methodist Church through the North Georgia Conference. He received a Bachelor in Psychology from Valdosta State University, a Master of Arts in Divinity from Emory University, and a Master of Arts in Speech Communication and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Georgia.
Pastor Rick served as a General Evangelist with the United Methodist Church and has ministered for over 50 years in the United States and Brazil. Countless lives have been touched and changed by the hand of God through his ministry.
He wants to see revival come to the church. To this end, he works to equip and encourage the body of Christ for the ministry of the gospel. His number-one goal is the empowerment of the laity and the equipping of leaders.
Dr. Jody G. Ray is the senior pastor of Mt. Bethel in Atlanta, Georgia. He worked in the financial services sector before entering ministry. He has a degree in finance and accounting, a master of divinity, and a doctorate of ministry. The difficulties in his past fuel his passion for coaching people through challenging seasons of life and helping them embrace their futures. Jody and his wife, Shelley, have three children, Jennings, Carson, and Robert.
“Gene” is a native of Gloucester, VA. He entered full-time ministry in the United Methodist Church in 1983. His educational background includes a BA Degree in Philosophy from Christopher Newport College, a Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Union School of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Boston University. He also studied worship at Mansfield College, Oxford University, in 1992. Gene has served pastorates in Winchester, Alexandria, New Market and Virginia Beach, VA. Gene and his wife Amanda reside in Arlington and Winchester, VA.
My name is Jennifer Bauman. I owned a fitness ministry for the last 20 years. I was an Instructor for the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith in health and fitness for 5 years. In addition, I was a civilian trainer for the United States Air-force in PT training and nutrition. I am a Life Coach and teach people how to balance their personal life, work life and Spiritual life. I recently sold my assets and went into full-time ministry with the homeless, in the area of feeding and distribution of basic human supplies for the past two and a half years. I have been a lay leader, prayer minister, inner healing and deliverance teacher along with teaching the Word of God in the classroom. My greatest desire is missions, where I currently am involved with RBM, traveling to various countries to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Pam is author of Jesus and the Addict: Twelve Bible Studies for People Getting Free from Drugs, designed to help leaders in Christian faith-based recovery to guide those who come to their communities toward continuous freedom from drugs. She also hosts a weekly podcast, Rooted by the Stream, which covers a wide variety of Christian topics meant to bring awareness, exhort and challenge believers in their walk with Christ. You will also find her on www.latterian.com with a teaching series titled Growing in the Power of the Holy Spirit. Dr. Pam is a pastor, counselor, teacher, speaker and writer, and we are blessed to have her in the RBM family.
David is a former federal prosecutor who has been practicing law in Atlanta, Georgia for 35 years--for the last 17 as a full-time mediator. In 1994, David had a radical conversion experience at a time when he and his wife, Susan, were experiencing the heartbreak of being unable to start a family. Twenty-one months after David’s conversion, Susan gave birth to their first child—on Father’s Day and their Sixth Anniversary. Today, by the grace of God, Susan and David have five natural born children who are the very heart of their ministry!
For the last twenty-five years, David has been a Bible teacher, preacher, Christian writer, and workplace evangelist. He currently serves as an executive board member for Rick Bonfim Ministries. His passion is to see the Holy Spirit move in our lives to awaken our hearts and heal our land.
Jacqueline is a servant. She was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, PA. From a very early age, she was passionate about working with children and this resulted in her pursuing a career in education. She has served as a teacher, instructional coach and currently as an Assistant Principal in a large urban school district. Through her work in schools, she developed a love for working with historically marginalized populations and advocating on behalf of students and families she served. Jacqueline is a Certified Lay Minister in the United Methodist church and serves on several ministry teams. She has led youth ministries, women’s ministries, and various community engagement events. She is committed to carrying the spirit of prayer and worship wherever God leads her and to the personal growth and development of girls and women. Jacqueline is most proud to serve in ministry alongside her mother and role model, Rev. Jackie A. Stewart, her father Christ Servant Minister T. J. Stewart and her husband, Minister Shawn Mack. Jacqueline is married to the love of her life, Christ Servant Minister Shawn Mack and together they have three boys, Tyler, Jordan and Kaden.
Rev. Randy DeGroot is an ordained Elder in the Free Methodist Church and serves at Newnan City Church. He has a M.Div. from Gammon Theological Seminary and a BS. and MS. in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri. He is also a Navy veteran and a commercial airline pilot. He has been married to Karin for 40 years and they have three grown children.
Johnathan and his wife, Tara, moved to Athens, GA in 2009 after finishing graduate school. They now have two sons, Jace and Ellis and one daughter, Liana. Johnathan is commissioned by the RBM Board of Directors as a Licensed Minister of the Gospel. In the office he is involved in intern training, operations management, budgets, trips, fundraising and financial advising. He is also a gifted Bible teacher and worship leader.
The real work that John does is to provide incentive to our staff and interns in the area of development. His sense of need and his abilities to teach, produces vital uplifting and encouragement that changes the outlook of someone affected by life and situations.
We are blessed by Pastor Johnathan in this way. If you spent one week in the office you will notice his skills and his call to serve being put into motion by analyzing, creating, fixing, and teaching basics that encourage and uplift our staff.
Pastor George E. Moxley is passionate about preaching, teaching, and training. He has been the keynote speaker for numerous Ministry Training Conferences, church and state hosted seminars, conferences, revivals and Camp Meetings both in the United States and abroad. He has also been involved in numerous ministerial, pastoral and layman training conferences in the United States, Spain, South Africa, Ireland, Jamaica and the Bahamas.
He and his wife, Debbie have been in full time ministry, served as Senior Pastor from 1991 through 2015. He has served on the State Council, State Youth Board, State Evangelism Board and International Youth Board for the Church of God as well local and community boards. Pastor Moxley lives in Jesup, Georgia where he served as Senior Pastor of the Unity Church of God for 17 years. While serving as pastor he was actively involved in church revitalization, restarting two churches and assisting in the revitalization of another.
He has taken a new prospective in ministry and is now serving as an evangelist/revivalist travelling around the nation spreading the Good News of Christ. Along with this new avenue of ministry George is personally mentoring several young pastors as well as hosting Principle to Practical Leadership Conferences to help train pastors and church leaders.
David Hutchinson is the Senior Pastor of New Covenant in Athens. He met his wife, India, at New Covenant in 1994 while completing his BS degree in Forest Resources at the University of Georgia. Shortly after finishing his degree, he began serving the church as a volunteer youth director. After attending Emmanuel College and completing a degree in Biblical Studies, he came on staff at New Covenant as Youth Pastor and served in that role for five years. Pastor David then changed roles and became Worship Pastor and led worship during the outpouring of revival that began in 1999. He served in that role until plans began to develop for him to transition into position of Senior Pastor. In 2016, Pastor David became Senior Pastor of New Covenant. Having served the founding Pastor, Howard Conine, for twenty-two years, he carries the original vision of the church into the future.
David and his wife, India, have three children and live in the Athens area.
