Prayers can be made at any time and any place. They comfort us and help to guide us in our life. Everyone needs prayer and that includes our children.
There seems to be so much despair in the world that I think our children need some “JOY” in their life. Here is a prayer that we can pray over our kids this Christmas season.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I ask that my children be filled with JOY this Christmas season. Joy that can only be found in YOU. That they understand that true joy comes in knowing you sent your Son to live among us, to show us your love. May my children not think of the feeling of joy at the receiving of many Christmas gifts found under the tree but the gift of Jesus, the gift of believing in Eternal life with you. May the joyfulness of the Holy Spirit be ever present in their life. I want joy for my children Lord. I want them to see it in every occasion in their life be good or bad. To rest in the joy that comes in having a relationship with you.
I ask for this joy in your Son’s name,
