“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they kept My word, they will keep yours also” (John 15:20).  It is important to know what is going on in the lives of our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.  for many years I have depended upon a great ministry, “The Voice of the Martyrs” (  to give accurate and current information so that we can fulfill the mandate of scripture given to us in Hebrews 13:3…..”Remember the prisoners, as though in prison with them, and those who are ill-treated, since you yourselves are also in the body.”

Consider the story of our sister, Asia Bibi, who has been imprisoned in Pakistan for blasphemy for more than seven years:
Asia Bibi, a Christian woman who has been imprisoned for more than seven years on a blasphemy conviction, has seen yet another delay in her appeal to the Pakistan Supreme Court. The court was set to hear Asia Bibi’s final appeal in Islamabad, Pakistan, but one of the judges recused himself because he is involved in a related case. Authorities had deployed nearly 3,000 police and security forces around the city in preparation for potential rioting by those demanding her death. Asia Bibi’s husband and two daughters are eager for her release, and they themselves remain under threat of attack by Muslim militants. Please pray for justice in Asia Bibi’s legal case as well as for the protection of her and her family.

Please join me in praying for Asia and her family.  May  she hold fast her witness to the Lord Jesus Christ, and may many be brought to faith as they watch her example.
