How Deep

Ephesians 3:17-18

So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.

Dear Father,

Today we dive DEEP into your sea of mercy. We swim DEEP into your living waters of righteousness. We approach You with our hearts to love, our hands to serve, and obedience to follow You…DEEPER.

Lord, we fully acknowledge that we don’t have all the answers to all of life’s questions. Many times we seem to question why our paths are ever changing, our roads ever-winding, and our fears ever-clouding.

We know as believers that Your intentions for us are good and Your promises are true. But if we stay on the surface, on the periphery, on the outskirts of our relationship with You, our faith dwindles. We become disconnected from You and distant from You. Our faith grows weak and we aren’t prepared to face the challenges that we face each day.

Despite our reluctance to rely on You, Your Spirit still pursues us and seeks after us. We eternally thank You for this.

Teach us Father to go DEEPER with You. To go closer with You and Your infinite love.

Teach us to draw close to You and search DEEPER in Your Word.

Fill our hearts FULLER and DEEPER with Your amazing love. To serve others in need.

Flood our minds with encouragement and purify our thoughts with the DEEP wisdom of Your Holy Spirit.

Finally, Father God We ask You to reach DEEP into our hearts and bring us out of the miry clay. Reach DEEP into our hearts and change us from the inside out.

Thank You Father for loving us DEEPLY. Today, and each and everyday.
