Psalms 34:1-3
“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord;
The humble and down trodden will hear it and rejoice. O magnify the Lord with me, And let us lift up His name together.”
Dear Father-
You will Forever Be The Almighty One. You will Forever Be the Messiah and The King Enthroned in Glory. There is not even one shadow in this world that can cast a cloud over Your righteousness and Your Awesome Power.
Today, we claim in unison that You are greater than any sickness or addiction, greater than any fear or stronghold and greater than any stumbling block or unforgiveness.
You God are Almighty because You conquered The grave. You turned that grave cold and empty and You overcame the sins of the world.
You died in our place and then three days later, You arose in Victory. You defied all of the odds, and You stand alone as the Holy One.
What’s just so amazing about all of this is that You take the time to love us. You take opportunities to draw us in close to You. Close enough to speak directly to us with words of encouragement and of faith.
Then You call down to us and break the chains that bind us and our unbelief. Then You cover us with Your Glory. Glory that we don’t deserve and Glory that we sure didn’t earn.
You just give to us so freely Your love and Your trust. You are just so kind and understanding and forgiving. You don’t care about our past, only the current state of our heart and You want us to draw near to You.
And it is for this reason that Your Praises will Ever Be on my lips. Your praises will Forever be in my mind and in my heart.
Your love is devoted like a ring of solid gold
Like a vow that is tested like a covenant of old
Your love is enduring through the winter rain
And beyond the horizon with mercy for today
Faithful You have been and faithful you will be
You pledge yourself to me and it’s why I sing
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
You Father the orphan
Your kindness makes us whole
And you shoulder our weakness
And your strength becomes our own
Now you’re making me like you
Clothing me in white
Bringing beauty from ashes
For You will have Your bride
Free of all her guilt and rid of all her shame
And known by her true name and it’s why I sing
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
You will be praised You will be praised
With angels and saints we sing worthy are You Lord
You will be praised You will be praised
With angels and saints we sing worthy are You Lord
And it’s why I sing
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Your praise will ever be on my lips, ever be on my lips
Like a Ring of Solid Gold-
