WHY YOU SHOULD GO

The Bonfim Mission is a haven for personal healing and renewal. Hundreds have received their liberty and healing on these anointed grounds. The RBM mission trip is designed to be an empowering, equipping encounter with the Holy Spirit which will change your life and release you to be a blessing in the lives of others.

WHERE

Santa Barbara, Niteroi --- across the bay from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Santa Barbara is a poor neighborhood filled with poor families. The Bonfim Mission is a lighthouse in this neighborhood, providing a feeding program 5 days a week, a medical clinic, a bakery, a church, and outreach to the poor who live on the hills all around the mission.

PURPOSE OF THE TRIP

An amazing opportunity to share the love of Jesus with many in need. Most importantly, this trip is an empowering, equipping encounter with the Holy Spirit which will bring clarity and definition in your life and ministry. It is a time of healing, deliverance and renewal. You will be trained to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit, to discern needs, and to allow the gifts of the Spirit to move through you more freely.

SCHEDULE AND ACTIVITIES ON THE TRIP

Mornings: worship, Bible study and prayer
Afternoons: outreach activities, construction and repair projects, medical outreach, evangelism, and other projects.
Evenings: Church services in the area will be scheduled for most evenings. We will preach the Word, give testimonies, and pray for people. This is one of the most amazing aspects of the trip. REVIVAL is happening in Brazil and the Holy Spirit is moving to save, deliver, heal and fill thousands. The Americans will be used of God to minister in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Language and culture barriers mean nothing in this environment -- seeing how the Holy Spirit will move through you to bless others will build your faith and teach you how the Holy Spirit works.

PROCESS

Reference the attached "Mission Trip Check List" above.

1) Submit your application (above) with $100 deposit.
2) Get your fundraising packet and begin sending out letters and finding creative ways to do fundraising
3) Get a passport if you need one -- renew passport if it is going to expire within 6 months of the trip
4) Work with financial deadlines to pay your ticket money and balance due
5) Brazil requires a visa to enter - the office of RBM will help you with this
