Return to Rekindle the Flame

Bishop Johnathan Holston – Bishop Holston is the resident Bishop of the South Caroline conference. Prior to his election and consecration in July of 2013, he served as the senior pastor of St. James UMC in Atlanta. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Gammon and bachelor’s degree in religion from UGA.

Dr. Eugene Thomas – “Gene” is a native of Gloucester, Virginia. He entered full-time ministry in the United Methodist Church in 1983. His educational background includes a BA Degree in Philosophy from Christopher Newport College, a Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Union School of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from Boston University. He also studied in worship at Mansfield College, Oxford University, in 1992. Gene has served pastorates in Winchester, Alexandria, New Market and Virginia Beach, Virginia. Gene and his wife Amanda reside in Arlington and Winchester Virginia.

Randy DeGroot – Randy grew up in Columbia MO and attended the Univ. of MO. He currently lives in Peachtree City GA. He has been married to Karin for 37 years and they have three grown children. He served as a pilot in the U.S. Navy, and now flies as a commercial airline pilot. He is a graduate of Gammon Theological Seminary.

Cindi Fain – Cindi is a native Atlantan and currently resides in Roswell, GA. She and her husband joined Mt. Bethel UMC in 1996, where she has been teaching a weekly Bible Study for 18 years. She has also developed several study courses.

Rev. Rick Bonfim – Rick is a General Evangelist with the North Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and President of Rick Bonfim Ministries – www.latterain.com. Rick and his wife, Mary Lucy, live in Bogart.

Bishop James Swanson – Bishop Swanson is the resident bishop of the Mississippi Conference of UMC. His tenure began Sept. 1, 2012. He serves as the president of the general commission of UMM for 2017-2020. He is married to Delphine and they have 6 grown children and 15 grandchildren.

Sandra Snell – After a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit of the Living God, Sandra was supernaturally healed by Jesus and began ministering in her community. Since Christ set her free, she longs to see the whole Body of Christ rise up into the fullness of all that Jesus paid for on the Cross. She and her husband, Terry, reside in Marietta, GA.
